What is the purpose of iStar?

To give international youths the opportunity to come together,interact and experience the culture, peace and tranquility of Simandhar City and also to learn about the Indian heritage. The main focus of the retreat is the in-depth study of the spiritual science of Akram Vignan, unveiled by Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan.

What will iStar include?

The retreat will include a 3-4 day jatra (religious tour), day trips or excursions, group discussions on various topics, interactive satsang sessions, self development programs, satsang with Aptputra brothers and Aptputri sisters and Rakshabandhan celebration with Pujya Deepakbhai. Fun, of course will be a big part of the iStar experience through quiz night, games and various opportunities to do seva.

When is iStar planned?

This is a 14-day (two weeks) retreat, scheduled in the months of July and August.

Who can attend iStar?

Young boys and girls between the ages of 13 to 21 years are encouraged to attend this unique retreat designed especially for them. They should have a personal interest in the teachings of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan. The retreat for both boys and girls shall be conducted simultaneously however, their activities will be separate. Where will iStar be held?

The base of the retreat will be Simandhar City (Adalaj,Gujarat), but we will have day trips in and around Ahmedabad city and a jatra (religious tour) somewhere in India.

Have there been similar retreats in previous years?

Yes. Past retreats were conducted consecutively in the years 2010 to 2019.

How much will iStar cost?

The fees for the entire 14 days program is US $600 / GBP £525.

The above retreat cost is excluding your flight cost to and from Ahmedabad Airport, Gujarat.

The retreat cost will include:

• Accommodation in Simandhar City and during jatra.
• Transport to & from the Ahmedabad Airport / Railway Station, Gujarat and for any excursions or the jatra.
• Food and water facilities, a special kitchen will be operated during the entire retreat.
• Other sundry expenses like a welcome kit, course material,administrative costs, souvenirs etc.

The retreat is a non-profit making event and any money left over, after the retreat, shall be refunded to the participants.

How and where should I pay for iStar?

Once your filled application form is reviewed and approved by the iStar Team, you will get a confirmation email from us with all the payment details including whom you should make the payment to and how to make it.

Where do I submit my pickup and drop-off information?

You can fill the pickup and drop form on the below link and we will arrange for your pickup from ahmedabad airport or ahmedabad railway station and drop-off too.
